The consulate also has a presence in Los Angeles, where the official website is a good place to start if you have questions about our operations in the West Coast capital. Our offices are open 8:00am - 5:00pm Mondays to Thursdays and 8:30am - 3:30pm on Fridays.

If you’re planning a trip to the Dominican Republic, it’s a good idea to register your travel plans with the Embassy through the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP). This will ensure that you receive important information from the Embassy about safety conditions in the country, helping you make an informed decision about your travels.
Until 31 December 2022, British citizens can enter the Dominican Republic without a visa for tourism purposes. However, you must have a passport that is valid for the full duration of your stay.
