You must submit in person or by mail the following documents:

1. Visa Application Letter in Spanish to the Consulate stating your name, nationality, the position you will hold, as well as employer’s information.
2. Completed Visa Application Form ( English | Spanish )
3. Two (2) photographs, the frame size must be 2” x 2” and stamped indicating date of photograph; photograph must not be older than 6 months. The photograph must show the full front view of the head, with the face in the middle of the photograph, and include the top of the shoulders.
4. Original passport or travel document with at least 18 months of validity
5. Photocopy of all used pages on the passport or travel document
6. Original letter issued by the institution,company or person with whom you will conduct temporary work,stating the commitment to meet the conditions and requirement son labour rights and conditions of the Dominican Republic, communication of information on workers,transportation,travel expenses and repatriation.
7. Guarantor letter in Spanish from the institution,company or person whereby they are accountable for medical expenses and repatriation.
8. Medical Certificate presenting an assessment of the overall health of the applicant and indicating if he/she suffers from some kind of contagious disease.
9. Job proposal letter with a certification from the Ministry of Labour attached stating that the company is registered with the Ministry of Labour and in the Treasury of Social Security (TSS).
10. Processing fee of USD90.00, if in person cash only, if by mail money order payable to the Dominican Republic Consulate.

NOTE: WHEN MAILING YOUR DOCUMENTS PLEASE INCLUDE A SELF-ADDRESSED PREPAID EXPRESS ENVELOPE.

IMPORTANT: The processing time is 3-5 business days. The visa could be issued for up to one year and valid for one or multiple entries.
